First aid course: mandatory or not?

First aid courses are taught by a physician experienced in emergency intervention. The course includes both theoretical information and practical applications of first aid intervention (safety position, Heimlich maneuver, chest compression, RCR and many more).

Upon completion of the course, a certificate of attestation of the acquired knowledge will be given, valid one year after the release is issued.

How do we use the first aid kit?

First aid kit is mandatory! When faced with an emergency situation, it is essential to know how to use it in a way that does not worsen the victim's condition. Identify the problem and then find the right tool. First aid training will help your staff to intervene efficiently, quickly and to know exactly how to use each tool in the kit if needed.

First aid in case of electrocution

The most important thing to do when giving first aid in case of electrocution is to call an ambulance and then to remove the injured person from the power source using protective means! The positioning of the victim will be different depending on their condition, if they are conscious we will use the foetal position, if not we will use a horizontal position with the legs raised.

First aid in case of an accident

First aid in the event of accidents at work is the responsibility of the designated employee! It is essential that the victim is protected until medical staff arrive. The accident will be reported immediately and it is necessary to give information about the victim's condition, the scene of the accident, the name of the person making the call, and to answer calmly all questions asked.

First aid in case of burns

There are four major types of burns: thermal, corrosive, electrical and radiation. It is important to be properly trained and to have a first aid course in burns so as not to aggravate the situation. We must remove the cause and rinse the area where the burn occurred with clean, cold water. If the injuries are severe, the injured person should be rushed to hospital.
